Disconnected

There have been moments in my life when I felt a sudden disconnectedness, as if I was outside looking at myself. It was as if there was a sudden realization of my place in existence.  The feeling was strange and lonely.  It made me want to go and immediately hug everyone around me.

Luckily, I snapped out of it in a flash.

Was I going crazy?

No, not crazy at all! Those were moments, John, passing states of "disconnection", and they reminded you of your wish to be connected.

not crazy, just heightened reality, perhaps, that at that particular moment you're a little shut down for whatever reason - get out there and lavish the world with hugs, lest the moments come oftener and last longer - loved your straightforward post!!!

Everyone feels disconnected from time to time. I think the crazy comes when the ability to reconnected does not.

Nothing wrong with feeling disconnected, sometime it frees you from so much negative energy folks or life is sending your way. Problem comes in when we enjoy it so much, we fail to reconnect, especially to love one. I am a hermit in so many ways, and feel more connected to folks online then I do with them right around me, am I crazy?
